Christian Living FAQs
We submit our lives to Jesus Christ by accepting Him with all our hearts and surrendering ourselves to live according to God’s will.
Matthew 16:24 - Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.
Luke 14:33 - So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
To submit our hearts to Jesus Christ, we must fill them with His Word and protect them from the fleeting pleasures and sorrows of this world.
Luke 8:14 - Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
Luke 8:15 - But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.
When our hearts are filled with God’s Word, the Holy Spirit flows within us like Living Water, guiding us to fulfill God’s purpose on earth.
John 16:13 - However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.
Because the Word of God reveals who Jesus is and teaches us how to live for His glory. Without the Word of God, we cannot know His truth, follow His commands, or reflect His character.
John 15:5 - Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
It is through the living Word that our lives bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Because, If our hearts do not truly accept and believe the Word of God, it cannot take root within us. When the Word of God doesn’t live in our hearts, we lack the strength and guidance to do what pleases God.
James 1:22 - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Only when we receive God’s Word with faith and obedience can we live according to His desire and purpose on earth.
Time is part of God’s creation, not a constraint on God’s being; therefore, God is not limited by time.

Bible says,
Acts 17:24 - God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

The Apostle Paul reminds us:
1 Corinthians 2:12 - Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
We can understand the Word of God by reading the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit reveals the context and God’s plan in the Word of God. Therefore, we must pray to God before reading the Bible.
